In Nietzsche's writings, he believed that equality boils down to "slave morality" to serve the interest of the weak and "master morality," which is to serve the strong and praise the attributes of strength. In contrast with Nietzsche's writings, Kurt Vonnegut's story, rather than comparing equality to religion, and slave-master "morality." Vonnegut's story gave readers a visual of how unusual and restraining it would be to live in a world that required everyone to be equal in all aspects, such as physical strength and intellect. Plato's Allegory of the Cave has many interpretations depending on each individual's own perspective.
